Approved - What Next?

 

1. Once you are approved you will need to submit your $500 holding deposit AND your signed approval documents (sent to you online from your agent) WITHIN IN 24 HOURS or your unit will go back on the market.

  • You can submit your holding deposit by one of following:

    • On-line using your credit or debit card

    • Submit a cashier's check to your agent WITHIN 24 HOURS (ask your agent who to have the cashier's check made out to)

      • NO CASH

      • NO MONEY ORDERS

      • NO PERSONAL CHECKS

2. Contact National Grid and set up all needed utility accounts

  • If they tell you they need a signed lease 1st, explain to them you are simply calling to "create" the account and to get your "customer number".

  • You will need to give all customer numbers prior to your agent at the lease signing.  Your agent will fax a copy of the signed lease with the customer numbers to National Grid for them to "activate" the account you had set up.

  • YOUR AGENT MUST HAVE THESE CUSTOMER #'S BEFORE THEY CAN RELEASE YOUR LEASE FOR E-SIGNATURES.  

 

3. E-Sign your lease sent to you by your agent.

  • The following payment is to be submitted online at the time of the lease signing:

    • Remaining portion of the Security Deposit (equivalent to one month's rent)
