The Fair Housing Act requires we accept deposits on a "first come/first serve" basis. 
 

What does that mean?

It means...the first party to submit all needed information and funds to hold a unit is the party who has first rights to rent the apartment upon landlord's approval. 
 

Don't lose out on your perfect home to someone scheduled right after you who brings all the needed info and funds.

 

How can you avoid that? Bring the following items for all adults to your showing:

• • • Picture ID

    • Proof of Income:

      • Pay stubs for the most recent 30 days, or 

      • Copies of bank statements showing direct deposit for the most recent 30 days, or

      • Copies of last year's tax returns

 

If you don't like the unit there is no need to submit any of the above info, but at least you had it!
